Logo Design Rationale
The design concept underlying
the Logo is based on the need for global convergence to position gas as one of
the main and vital energy resources in the empowerment of growth and
international development.
The Logo is conceived to
reflect a circular configuration depicting the world. Within the design are
embodied two curvi-linear strokes to imbue a sense of dynamic energy motion –
representing power. The typographic G, for gas, indirectly emerges from their
rhythmic flow, created by the design process.
Colours chosen have both
energy and social reference. The deep bluish tinge is intended to depict gas
and energy while green has reference to environment conservation. The colour
combination has parallel emphasis on energy harnessing and social
responsibilities.
